Shipping Policy at Hekate’s Flame

Because candles are both weighty and delicate, shipping costs can add up, but we aim to keep things simple and fair.
We offer a flat shipping rate of $7.95 anywhere in the United States.
And to honor your support, all orders over $100 ship free, no code needed.

To protect your candles during warmer months, we only ship Monday through Wednesday to avoid packages sitting in hot warehouses or trucks over the weekend.
Orders received after 11 a.m. on Wednesdays will ship the following Monday.
All orders are shipped in the order they’re received. Our standard processing time is 3–5 business days, but during busy seasons, especially around the holidays, this may extend to 7–10 business days depending on order volume and carrier delays. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we hand-pack each order with care. Thank you for allowing extra time during seasonal rushes!

Once your package leaves our hands and is scanned in by the carrier, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number so you can follow its journey. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking updates to appear.
As a small-batch, home-based studio, please note that Hekate’s Flame is not responsible for packages once they’ve been accepted by the carrier. If you experience any issues with delivery, we recommend contacting the carrier directly with your tracking information. Unfortunately, it’s not uncommon for shipping carriers to mark packages as delivered a little early, even if they’re still en route. If your order shows as delivered but hasn’t arrived, please allow 2–3 business days, as it often shows up within that window. In the meantime, double-check with neighbors or household members.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages once the carrier has scanned them in. If you experience any issues with delivery, we recommend contacting the carrier directly with your tracking information.

We currently ship within the United States only.
Orders are shipped using trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx, selected through our shipping platform to provide the best combination of speed and reliability based on your location and package size.
Most orders arrive within 1–5 business days after fulfillment, depending on the carrier and destination.
Return Policy at Hekate’s Flame

We want you to love your candle as much as we loved crafting it. If something isn't quite right, unused and undamaged candles may be returned within 7 days of purchase for a refund. Just be sure to include proof of purchase and a photo.
To begin a return, please email us at care@hekatesflame.com with the subject line "Returns." Be sure to include your order number, name, and reason for the return in your message. Returns must be approved by us before being sent back. Items sent without a return request will not be accepted.
The buyer is responsible for return shipping, and the candle must arrive in its original condition to be eligible for a refund. Once we’ve received and inspected the returned item, your refund will be processed if it meets our return criteria.
Please note that return requests made after 7 days of purchase cannot be accepted.

Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll send you an update to let you know if the refund has been approved. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method.
Please note: The shipping fee is non-refundable. Depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take a few business days for the refund to appear on your statement. -
We’re unable to accept returns on used or burned candles, samples, custom orders, sale items, or gift cards. These items are considered final sale. Thank you for understanding.

We understand that choosing a candle scent online can be a leap of faith ~ we wish you could smell them through the screen, too!
While we don’t offer direct exchanges at this time, the quickest way to get the candle you truly want is to return your original item (if eligible), and then place a new order for your preferred scent.
To begin the return process, please follow the instructions under the “Can I return my candle for a refund?” section above.

Your satisfaction is our priority. If your product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us at care@hekatesflame.com with a photo of the damaged goods within 7 days of purchase.
Upon receipt, please inspect your packages immediately for any potential damage that may have occurred during transit.
We will promptly ship a replacement product at no cost.

Safeguarding Your Treasures:
Tips for Protecting Candles from the Summer Heat
Since deliveries to your home may be left on the front porch, which can be problematic on hot days, we recommend having them sent to a location where someone will be available to receive them. Consider delivery options like a friend or family member’s house or workplace if permitted.
If you are expecting a shipment to your home, try to ensure someone is there to receive it. Alternatively, please plan to bring the package inside to a cool place as soon as possible to prevent it from sitting in the heat for too long.
