🕯️ Meet the Candlemaker
I’m Anny ~ psychotherapist, myth-lover, and keeper of the flame behind Hekate’s Flame Apothecary. Born of Greek and Anatolian roots, I carry a lifelong reverence for myth, ritual, and the unseen threads that bind scent to memory, story to soul.
By day, I walk with others through the landscapes of healing. By night, I pour candles as offerings, each one a vessel of archetype and alchemy, crafted to honor the sacred, the wild, the liminal.
This work is deeply personal. It’s slow magick made by hand, guided by intuition, shaped by myth, and poured with care into every flame.
Crafting Myth and Mystery in Every Artisan Candle Flame
Hekate’s Flame Apothecary was born from a reverence for mythology, the spell of candlelight, and a passion for fostering emotional connection through scent. Each candle is a carefully crafted blend of eco-conscious ingredients and timeless storytelling, drawing from ancient myths, archetypal symbols, and realms of fantasy to create a sensory experience that invites reflection, ritual, and enchantment.
Rooted in the wisdom of gods, heroes, and legendary figures, our candles serve as bridges to the mythic, a way to commune with deeper parts of ourselves and stir ancestral memory.
Poured with natural coconut apricot wax and infused with clean-burning fragrance oils, each Hekate’s Flame candle is designed to honor the sacred connection between scent, memory, and emotion.
Lighting these candles invites presence, meaning, and ritual into your space. Whether you’re seeking stillness, courage, or creative fire, each flame offers a quiet moment of just being, rooted in myth and guided by intention.
In the Bleak Midwinter
In the midst of cold,
past the fringes of darkness,
is this place of fire
where we huddle
at the edge of warmth
to relieve our chill
and regard each other’s faces
in the glow,
where we learn stories
of the shadows
and meet our own
darkness.
Loneliness is, perhaps,
believing there is no room
for us in the circle.
Belonging is knowing
every one of us
is the flame.
